Needle Thru Ribbon

The Magician shows a metal cylinder with a lid and a base that has two slots on its opposite sides. With the help of a flat spike he threads a piece of ribbon right through the cylinder. The ribbon is clearly seen to go inside one side of the cylinder and outside the other, and all is done very fairly. The magician picks up a giant needle and pushes it (with the hole side down) inside the cylinder. He then slowly pulls it out. Magically the ribbon will have threaded through the eye of the needle!

 

The effect is simply incredible and the method is really creative!

 

• The cylinder on its base is cm 17,5 (6,89”) tall. The diameter of the base is cm 11 (4,33”). The needle is cm 28 (11,02”) long.
